Open to anyone, from within or outside India, who has a relevant background and can demonstrate serious interest in the Indian commercial or automotive industry (you will be required to give a detailed proposal); typically, you would have at least a few years'
experience in the automotive industry and would have shown a definite inclination towards research in a particular field. |

The area of projects offered comprise Marketing, Business Planning, Supply Chain Management, Advanced Engineering, Product Design, Manufacturing Management, Information Technology, Finance and HR.

There is a centralized process of identifying key projects in the company well in advance and a structured approach is used to match CVs of the very best of the students to undertake these projects that also carry a stipend.
Some of the students have also come back to Ashok Leyland seeking post project placements.
Apart from the structured process of internships, Ashok Leyland also offers on a selective basis, medium impact projects to students from other colleges. These projects are non-stipendiary.
This way Ashok Leyland has been contributing to industry-institute interactions involving our senior executives, students from premier institutes and their faculty / guides.
