With the outbreak of Covi-19, she had been working for long hours, taking care of patients at the hospital as well as her family, including two children, with the help of her in-laws and husband. She takes care of patients in corona ward where life is not easy. Once they put on their protective gear, they are not allowed to eat, drink even or even the use washroom for a specified number of hours. It is difficult task handling patients in this condition since they are separated from their families and no visitors are allowed. In the female ward, she also arranges milk and food on her own for children who come with patients. She says, “When whole world is fighting with this pandemic how can I stay behind? My family has supported me a lot and encouraged me to carry on even during this situation. My duty is to take care of patients and whatever disease the patient has, I have to treat them without bias.” She urges everybody to play their part by staying at home and maintaining social distance.
She is a brave-heart who is fighting against all odds and keeping her Service to Nation above All.
Her husband Mr. Anil Vijay (Div. Manager - MPL & PPC) works in our Alwar Plant. He proudly says, “She is our family role model and an inspiration to our children to pursue a career in medicine.”
