The Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) vertical completes Ashok Leyland’s presence in the Commercial Vehicle space as a full-fledged CV player, offering customer solutions from 2.5 T to 7.5T in the goods carrier segment and 13 seats to 39 Seats in the passenger transportation segment. DOST was the first product launched by the light commercial vehicles division of Ashok Leyland in 2011 and has ever since changed the face of the light commercial vehicle segment. Dost comes in both Diesel and CNG, operates in the 2 to 3.5 T GVW segment. Ashok Leyland has further expanded its portfolio in the small commercial vehicle segment with the introduction of the Bada Dost, built on a completely new and futuristic platform. The Bada Dost is currently available in two variants, i4 – 1860 kg and the i3 – 1400kg payload. Among the LCV trucks, Ashok Leyland offers the Partner brand of Trucks (6 to 7.5 T GVW). The Partner Truck comes with most fuel efficient ZD30 Engine and offers Best in Class Performance. The MiTR Bus comes in both School and Staff variants upto 39 Seats, meeting all safety norms and offers best in Class comfort, safety and Performance. Today, more than 3.5 Lakh Ashok Leyland LCVs rule the roads of India, making it a leading player in the LCV Segment.
